In the back of our building there is a four level parking structure, the first 1.5 hour is free and $1 each hour thereafter. Century Theater underground parking in short walk and the first 1.5 hour is free and .25 each hour thereafter.
Sanitation: Your health is our priority, We take your health very seriously. We follow what is required by the State of California and Board of Cosmetology. We clean and sanitize all tools and equipment after each client use and are kept in hospital grade sanitary pouches to avoid any contamination of any kind. All our pedicure chairs has glass bowls to reduce from any possibility of spreading any dangerous bacterial agents. We thoroughly wash and sanitize all our pedicure glass bowls and wiped down any contacts area after each and before every client and take pride in our custom made pedicure chairs. We want you to feel safe and secure so you may enjoy your treatments without any worries or fears. We also do not “double dip” in our paraffin wax treatments or in our waxing services. Each wax container is use separately for hand and nails.
Appointments: Walk-ins are always welcome and will try our best to accommodate, but we highly recommend making an appointment to make sure we can fit your specific time request especially if you are bringing a friend or two and prefer to sit together. All appointment services of $40 or more requires a major credit card. We will take half deposit for same day or within 24 hour appointment over the phone. We accept Visa and Master Card only.
Gratuities in cash are greatly appreciated.
Arrival: Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your reserved time to allow yourself time to unwind, relax with a beverage, and catch up with your favorite publication.
Late Arrival: To ensure the promptness of all reservations we reserve the right to reschedule any reservation that is more than 15 minutes late.
Children: Due to space limitations and the potentially dangerous equipment and chemicals used for services, we prefer it if you arrive for your reservation please have them sit in the waiting area.
Cancellations: Cancellations or a change to reservations made with at least 24 hours notice allows our team the opportunity to accommodate other guests. All changes to reservations with less than 24 hours notice carry a $20 fee. Not showing up for an appointment without prior notice will result in a fee equivalent to the full value of the scheduled service. All cancellation and change fees must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.
If for any reason our team needs to cancel or change your reservation with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $20 gift certificate waiting for you at the front desk for use on any salon service. (This does not apply to courtesy calls to notify you that your stylist is running late.)
Payments: Gratuities in cash are greatly appreciated
Gratuities: Retreat Salon does allow gratuities to be added to any credit card purchase. We recommend a gratuity between 15% and 20%. Please remember that when using a discount or coupon on services to tip on the full service price. Our desk staff will be glad to tell you how much a service is at its regular cost.
Returns/Refunds: Retreat proudly stands behind all products sold in our salon. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase we will happily apply the full purchase value within 3 days of the returned product to another product of your choice or refund the product purchase price. Please make sure you have your receipt. Halo Couture product No Returns and No Refunds. Certificates cannot be redeem for cash/No Refunds. Certificates must only apply to a service currently available. Prepaid service on credit card is subject to a 15% cancellation charge.
The team at Retreat Salon considers hairdressing an expression of artistic expression. We celebrate the creativity and individuality of each member of Retreat Salon team. If you are dissatisfied with any stylists’ artistic interpretation, please call us immediately to give us the opportunity to work with you to achieve your satisfaction. It may be something simple that can be quickly remedied. Except in extreme cases, we will ask you to please give your original stylist a chance to get your hair exactly where you would like it. Our team encourages you to try a service with whomever you like. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable communicating with us. Please remember we cannot improve without your feedback.
Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However we will work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction. Service corrections are gladly taken care of gratis for up to (3) days from the date of your service.
If your polish chips within 2 days of your service, call and make an appointment to have your polish redone at no cost to you.
